LINUS OSUAGWU holds degrees of B.Sc. Tech (Second Class Upper Division)
inManagementTechnology(Maritime) from the Federal University of Technology Owerri Nigeria (1986/1987), an M.Sc. in Business Administration (Marketing) fromthe University of Lagos Nigeria (1989/1990), and a doctorate degree (Ph.D.)
in Business Administration (Marketing), also, from the University of Lagos (1996/1997).  He was Group Head at Research International (Nigeria) Limited Lagos.   He is a Specialist Research Consultant to Research andMarket Trends (Nigeria) Limited, Lagos Nigeria. He was the Chairman, Research and Publications Committee, Yaba College of Technology Lagos Nigeria, and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Yaba Journal of Management Studies.

He is associated with scholarly publications in books and journals, locally and internationally.  His research interests are in marketing, contemporary business strategies, small business and entrepreneurship management, political marketing strategies, maritime management and business research methods.

Prof. Osuagwu is an Alumnus of the IVP (USA), and belongs to the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Nigerian Institute of Shipping (NIS), the International Academy of African Business & Development (IAABD), the Academy of Management Nigeria, and Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (FNIMN).
He holds editorial board membership in the Academy of Marketing Studies Journal (USA), and the Academy of Information & Management Sciences Journal (USA). He was a Graduate/Research Assistant at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He has lectured as Senior Lecturer at the Lagos State University Ojo, the Federal University of Technology Owerri Nigeria and the Yaba College of Technology Lagos, Nigeria; as Associate Professor (Adjunct) at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nigeria; and as Visiting Professor (Adjunct) at the Igbinedion University Okada, Nigeria.  He has headed the Departments of Marketing, Insurance and Business Administration & Management Technology in the Faculty of Management Sciences, Lagos State University Ojo, Nigeria. He is presently a Professor of Marketing in the Department of Business Studies, Covenant University, Nigeria, and serves as the Chair of University Entrepreneurship Development Studies (Taught Courses) Committee, University Summer School Programmes Committee, and member of University R&D Committee
in the same University. He is happily married with a son.
